Kate is home from a two month North American Tour with Great Lake Swimmers. Needless to say the tour was fantastic. Big thanks to the Swimmers for everything and then some. Thanks also to those who sang along, asked questions (ha) and purchased albums. Hopefully there will be some new tour dates soon? In the meantime, it's back to the chalk board (substitute teaching) - gasp.
In other news, On High took home Album of the Year at the Northern Ontario Music and Film Awards. Kate, Howe (Gelb) and Dave (Draves) couldn't be happier. Thank you to MFM for their continued support.

HAUSKAA JOULUA (Wishing You a Merry Christmas in Finnish)
Kate and her band of boys/men(?) were successful in their recording endeavours last weekend and now there are two new records awaiting mixing, digitalizing, packaging, blah, blah, etc - one was recorded in the desert (Tucson, Arizona) in a studio (WaveLab) last April and one in the tundra (Sudbury, Ontario) in a basement (Kate's) last weekend. Fingers crossed that at least one of these albums will surface in 2009...
